Here are some useful artwork tips to help you get the best possible print results for your merchandise.

How to Submit Your Artwork

Upload on the product page — add your artwork directly when ordering.
Email it later — choose this option on the product page if your artwork isn’t ready or you would prefer to send it separately. Please include your order number when emailing.
Create your design online — on selected products, use our Quickbadge Artwork Designer, with built-in Quickbadge AI image assistance to help you create images for your design.

Quickbadge Artwork Designer

Our new designer is available on selected products, including badges, magnets and stickers, with more products being added.

Open the designer from the product page and it will already know the correct product size, safe area and bleed requirements. Add your own images, wording and background colours, or use Quickbadge AI to help create an image for your design.

AI usage is limited for guests, with double the allowance for registered customers.

When you order using the designer, you’ll receive an instant artwork sample. If you’re still logged into your account, you can approve it straight away, helping us get your order into production sooner.

Artwork Format

We accept most file formats. For the best results, images should be at least 300dpi at the size they will be printed. Lower-resolution files are accepted, but may appear blurred or pixelated.

We print in CMYK, so artwork supplied in RGB will be converted for printing. Some colours may look darker or less vibrant than they do on screen.

Please remove any template borders, guide rings and crop marks before submitting your artwork.

Templates and design specifications are available to download at the bottom of each product page.

Bleed Area

For badge artwork, please include an 8mm background bleed around your design, unless the product template specifies otherwise. This allows the background to wrap neatly around the badge and accommodates slight movement during printing and cutting.

Keep all important text, logos and details within the safe area shown on the template.

If your background is a solid colour, we can usually add the bleed for you. For photographs, patterns or detailed backgrounds, please ensure the background extends into the bleed area.

If you use the Quickbadge Artwork Designer, the correct bleed and safe-area guides are already set up for your chosen product.

Fonts

When submitting AI or PDF files, please convert text to outlines to avoid missing or substituted fonts. For PSD files, please rasterise text layers or supply a flattened copy, keeping your editable original.

Text in flattened image files such as JPG, PNG, GIF or BMP needs no extra preparation.

Free Design Service

We offer a free design service on all badge orders. Share your ideas, wording and any images or logos you would like us to use, and we’ll help create your design.

Digital artwork samples are sent once your order has been placed, so you can check and approve your design before printing.

Sharing Larger Files

For larger files, you can send us a Dropbox link or use another file-sharing service. Please make sure the link allows us to view and download your artwork, and include your order number so we can match it to your order.

Copyright and Use of Artwork

Artwork created by Quickbadge, including designs and images produced using the Quickbadge Artwork Designer, Quickbadge AI, or our in-house AI assistant, remains the property of Quickbadge to the extent permitted by law. This artwork may not be copied, reproduced or used by another company without prior written permission from Quickbadge.

Quickbadge may use AI assistance to create some artwork as part of our design service. The same restrictions apply to this artwork.

When supplying your own artwork, including AI-generated images, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for us to reproduce it. We will assume that you have checked and resolved any copyright, licensing or other third-party rights requirements before submitting your artwork.
